Philips Healthcare in India operates in the diagnostic imaging segment including CT, MRI, X-rays, cardiovascular system, nuclear medicine, PET-CT, and ultrasound imaging systems, and is also a significant player in patient monitoring.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot, has inaugurated the Biograph 16 PET.CT scanner by Siemens at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital, Jaipur. It is the first PET.CT scanner in the state of Rajasthan, which helps in identifying cancer lesions at a very early stage. It also comes with HD.PET technology, which provides the best image resolution in the industry and an X-ray reduction feature, which reduces the radiation dose to the patient up to 68%.
Konica Minolta Medical & Graphic, Inc (Konica Minolta) has launched a lightweight, wireless and cassette-sized digital radiography system. The detector has the same dimensions as a 14 x 17 ISO4090 compliant film cassette so it will fit an existing wall-stand or table bucky tray without modifications.
